                   A RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION TO THE URBAN
                   RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE GOLDEN GATEWAY URBAN
                   RENEWAL AREA, PROJECT NO. TENN. R-10.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
       Chattanooga by Resolution No. 8024, adopted October 22, 1968,
       approved the Urban Renewal Plan for the Golden Gateway Urban
       Renewal Area, Project No. Tenn. R-10 (dated August 1, 1968) and 
by
       Resolution No. 8430, adopted January 20, 1970; and by Resolution
       No. 9176, adopted February 2, 1972; and by Resolution No. 9280,
       adopted April 18, 1972; and by Resolution No. 10257, adopted
       September 3, 1974; and by Resolution No. 10911, adopted December
       23, 1975; and by Resolution No. 14630, adopted March 2, 1982; and 

       by Resolution No. 16909, adopted August 19, 1986; and by
       Resolution No. 17898, adopted November 22, 1988; and by 
Resolution
       No. 18837, adopted November 6, 1990; and by Resolution No. 19047, 

       adopted June 4, 1991, approved revisions to said Urban Renewal
       Plan; and
       	    WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of said project and of
       the community that said Urban Renewal Plan be further revised; 
and
       	    WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Chattanooga
       Housing Authority has approved revisions to said Urban Renewal
       Plan as evidenced by a duly certified copy of a resolution of 
said
       Board dated May 30, 1991;

                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE:
       	    1.	 That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 20 of Title
       13, Tennessee Code Annotated, the Revised Urban Renewal Plan for
       the Golden Gateway Urban Renewal Area, Project No. Tenn. R-10, as 

       approved by the Board of Commissioners of the Chattanooga Housing 

       Authority on August 1, 1968; revised January 16, 1970; December
       11, 1970; January 14, 1972; March 23, 1972; June 1, 1974; 
December
       19, 1975; January 25, 1982; August 15, 1986; November 18, 1988,
       October 1, 1990, May 13, 1991, and June 15, 1994, it is hereby
       approved.
       	    2.	 That it is hereby determined that the Revised Urban
       Renewal Plan conforms to the general plan for the City of
       Chattanooga.
